At Roxy Music, we know musicians want their gear delivered safely, quickly, and without surprises. Whether you’re ordering strings for a weekend gig or a new amplifier for the studio, we pack and ship every order with the same care we’d expect for our own equipment.

We’ve been serving musicians since 1939, and we understand that reliable shipping matters just as much as reliable gear.

  • Free shipping on all qualifying orders of $75 and up within the continental United States
  • Flat-rate $10 shipping on orders under $75
  • Fast, reliable shipping with secure packaging

Whether you’re ordering small accessories or larger music gear, we work to keep shipping affordable without cutting corners on protection and packing quality.

Shipping Times & Order Processing

Most in-stock items ship quickly so you can get back to playing without unnecessary delays.

  • Most in-stock orders ship the same day or next business day
  • Orders placed before 2 PM CST Monday through Friday typically ship the same day
  • Orders placed after 2 PM CST or on weekends ship the next business day
  • Typical transit time is 3–6 business days depending on location and carrier
  • Most Lower 48 deliveries arrive within 4–6 business days

How We Ship Musical Instruments & Gear

Different types of gear require different shipping methods. We choose carriers based on safety, reliability, and the type of equipment being shipped.

  • Large instruments, amplifiers, and bulky gear typically ship via UPS Ground or similar insured services
  • Smaller accessories like strings, pedals, tuners, straps, and cables often ship through USPS

Every order is packed by musicians who understand how important proper protection is during shipping. We use quality boxes, secure padding, and careful packing methods designed to keep your gear protected from the warehouse to your doorstep.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories

We proudly support musicians outside the continental U.S., but carrier rates for these destinations are often significantly higher, especially for oversized items like guitars, amplifiers, drums, and speaker cabinets.

  • Free shipping promotions may not apply to these destinations
  • Larger items may require additional shipping charges
  • We will contact you with shipping estimates before processing orders with additional fees
  • Transit times may vary depending on destination and carrier availability

Order Tracking & Shipping Notifications

We keep customers updated throughout the shipping process.

  • Tracking information is emailed once the order ships

If you do not receive your tracking email, please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still cannot locate it, contact us and we’ll resend your tracking details.

Shipping Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

Please double-check your shipping information during checkout to help avoid delays and returned packages.

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses may delay delivery
  • Returned or refused packages may require additional shipping fees for reshipment
  • Packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier are considered delivered

If porch theft is suspected, we’re happy to assist with documentation for carrier claims or local authorities whenever possible.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders

We take packing seriously, but shipping damage and mistakes can occasionally happen. If something arrives damaged, missing, or incorrect, we’ll work quickly to help resolve the issue.

  • Keep all original packaging materials for damaged shipments
  • Take clear photos of the box, packaging, and damaged item
  • Email your order number and photos to [email protected]
  • If the wrong item was shipped, we’ll provide a prepaid return label
  • Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments or boxes
